Explain the use of instructional objectives?

 Defenition = An instructional objectives is a statement that specifies the intended learner outcomes.

Uses

1.  Motivation  
   
Clearly defined objectives motivated the students to achieve his /her goal.
It chanalise the students learning towards subject matter.

2 Guideline

Objectives fecilitates the selection and organisation of the content by the teachers.
Objectives functions as guidelines for appropriate teaching,learning strategies by the teacher.
Objectives limits task and remopves the ambiguity and difficultiesof interpretation by the teachers.

3.Evaluation  

Objectives helps to evaluate the outcomes and performance of the student in  an objective way.
Objectives helps the teachers to assess the success and failure of his/ her method of presenting subject matter to the student, there fore the teachers can  eliminate the weakness of the method..
objectives ensures the measurement of learning experiences in a systematic and scientific way.

What are the components present in instructional objectives?

Components are 1 condition 2 behaviour 3 perfomance

condition:-      The setting in which the demonstration of learning will take place
                          An objective is necessary for any kind of learning.
                          It draw the learner's attention to the stimulus.
                          It inform learner about the learning goals
behaviour    :-  A description of am overt behaviour may be measured.
                           objectives can be observed and measured.
                          It conveys what changes of behavior the students should display when they learn and                            attain these behavioral changes.                  
performance:-  It is the measurement criteria for achievement of the objective.
                           The distraction between learning /acquisition of knowledge and performance is an                               important one.
